Reliability and what happens if Panelbot is down

What your client portal does if Panelbot is unreachable, how model provider outages are handled, uptime expectations, and where SLAs fit.

A fair question before you put anything on your client portal: what happens to your portal on our worst day?

Your portal keeps working

The widget is a separate script that loads alongside your client area. If it cannot reach us, it fails quietly. Your portal does not break, your customers still log in, still pay invoices, and still open tickets the normal way. The worst case is that the chat bubble is not there.

This is the important half of the answer, so we will be blunt about it: nothing about Panelbot sits in the path of your billing portal working. We are additive, and if we are gone your business does not stop.

Your servers keep working

The agent is a client, not a dependency. If it cannot reach us it retries and waits. It does not block anything, hold locks, or interfere with your panel. Websites, email, and everything else on the box carry on exactly as before, because none of it goes through the agent.

If a language model provider goes down

We use more than one provider and fail over between them without dropping conversations. That is not hypothetical resilience: providers do have bad days, and it is the reason we do not tie ourselves to one.

If every provider is failing at once, the assistant says so honestly and routes the conversation to your team rather than producing a nonsense answer.

Uptime and SLAs

Standard plans do not carry a contractual SLA. We are not going to print a number we have not earned yet with enough history behind it.

If your business needs a contractual commitment, that is an Enterprise conversation, and it is a reasonable thing to ask for. Talk to our team.

During an incident

If something is wrong on our side, the honest answer is what you get, in the chat and from us. A support tool that hides its own failure is worse than one that is briefly down, because you find out from your customers instead of from us.
