Capability Guides
Capability Guides describe, one problem area at a time, how Panelbot diagnoses and resolves the tickets your customers actually send. Each guide covers a family of issues: blocked access and firewall bans, WordPress white screens and database errors, sites that are down or throwing 5xx responses, SSL and domain and DNS problems, email deliverability, email accounts and login, and reseller, VPS, and dedicated scoping. The guides also cover writing your own knowledge base entries so the assistant answers with your policies rather than generic hosting advice. Each page states the customer symptom in plain language, lists what the assistant checks on your server, spells out which fixes run automatically versus which need a human, and points at the safety and escalation pages that govern the whole flow. This is where you decide which capabilities to leave on out of the box and which to keep in read-only mode.
What this section covers
- AI support for WordPress hosting issues
How Panelbot diagnoses WordPress white screens, critical errors, and database connection failures, fixing common breakage and escalating the rest.
- AI support for email deliverability
How Panelbot diagnoses email that bounces, lands in spam, or never arrives, checking mail routing and SPF, DKIM, and DMARC before any change is made.
- AI support for email login problems
How Panelbot diagnoses "Outlook keeps asking for my password" by checking the mailbox, quota, sign-in failures, and whether a customer's IP got blocked.
- AI support for SSL, domains, and DNS
How Panelbot diagnoses "site not secure" warnings, expired certificates, and domains that will not open by checking routing and HTTPS validity.
- AI support for websites down or erroring
How Panelbot diagnoses sites that are down, blank, or throwing 500, 502, or 503 errors, checking whether the site responds and where the failure sits.
- Your own knowledge base
Add your own policies and answers so Panelbot replies with your rules, not generic hosting advice. Covers drafts, publishing, and internal-only content.
- AI support for blocked IPs and firewalls
How Panelbot diagnoses "it works on my phone but not here" by checking whether the customer's connection is blocked or the account suspended.
- Reseller, VPS, and dedicated support
How Panelbot supports reseller accounts and their downstream customers, plus VPS and dedicated servers, scoping every customer to what they own.
Common questions
Which problem areas does the assistant handle?
Blocked access, sites down or erroring, SSL and DNS, WordPress, email deliverability, email login, and reseller and VPS scoping. Each has its own guide with the exact checks it runs.
What fixes does it make automatically?
Only pre-approved, reversible, low-impact ones that you have turned on. Read-only diagnostics run without a switch. Higher-impact changes always route to a human.
Can I turn a whole capability off?
Yes. Each area can be disabled in the widget settings, either as read-only or off entirely. Nothing from a disabled area runs.
How do I make it answer with my own policies?
Add pages to your knowledge base inside Panelbot. The assistant reads those first and quotes your wording instead of generic hosting advice.
