Refunds and cancellation

How to cancel Panelbot, what happens to your access and data, our refund position, and how to remove the widget and agents cleanly if you leave.

Cancelling

One click from your dashboard. You do not have to email anyone, sit through a retention call, or give a reason.

Your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel on day three of a monthly plan and the assistant keeps working until day thirty.

Refunds

We do not refund the remainder of a paid period, except where the law that applies to you requires it. Yearly plans work the same way as monthly ones.

That is the policy, and it is worth reading the reasoning rather than just the rule. The trial exists so nobody has to buy in order to find out. Fourteen days with thirty real conversations on your own portal tells you what a refund would otherwise have to tell you, and it costs you nothing.

If you think we got something wrong, write to us. A policy is not the same as refusing to talk.

Price changes

If we change prices we give 30 days notice, and never in the middle of a period you have already paid for.

What happens to your data

You have 30 days from closing your account to export everything: transcripts, audit logs, and your knowledge base. We delete your tenant data within 60 days after that, backups included.

If you are leaving because something broke rather than because you no longer need it, tell us on the way out. We would rather fix it than read about it later.

Removing Panelbot cleanly

Three things to take back, in whatever order suits you.

The agents. Run the uninstaller on each server. It stops and removes the service, removes the sudoers entries, deletes /opt/panelbot-agent and the panelbot-agent account, and tells us the server is no longer enrolled. Nothing of ours is left behind. Detail is in What the installer puts on your server.

The widget. In WHMCS, remove the hook file you added during setup. In Blesta, deactivate and remove the plugin. Your portal goes back to exactly how it was.

The account. Close it from your dashboard once you have exported anything you want to keep.

Coming back later

Nothing stops you. Your servers can be re-enrolled with a fresh token and the widget goes back in the same way it went in the first time. If you return within the export window, ask us before the deletion clock runs out, because after that the data really is gone.
